Luangpu Doo

"When you still can't find the merit within you, yes you do know me.

But when you start to found it, then i am sure you know me truly well."

Luangpu Doo Prommapunyo born at 10 May B.E.2447 Dragon year at Kaomao village of Ayuttaya province. His father passed away since he was 4 years old, luangpu doo spended his childhood studied at WatKrangkrongsabua, WatPhradusrongdhum and WatNivetdhumapravat.

The meeting of 2 PhraArrahun enlighten one, Luangpu Buddha and Luangpu Doo.

Both guru monks of thailand, Luangpu Buddha success with mindfulness to control elements, he can easily remove the water in the glass, his story are famous and well-known all over Thailand.

Luangpu Doo ordained at an age of 21 years old at 10 May B.E.2468 given name "Prommapunyo" in the monk hood. He studied dharma teaching at WatPhradusrongdhum from JaokhunNearng, PhrakruChom, LuangporRod, studied vipassana-gumatarn meditation with Luangpor Grun WatPhratarthgararm. 2 years later in B.E.2460 Luangpor Grun has passed away. Follow the way of thai monk elders, luangpu doo start to prilgimage from WatSagae and continue to garnjanaburi province, forest and mountain to seek a peace and quite place for meditation practise, he stoped by any important place of religion.

Luangpu Sree and Luangpu Doo

One night, the few year before b.e.2500, after luangpu doo finished afternoon chanting practise, while he was sitting meditation he seen nimitt(vision by meditate) that he have eat 3 shinning stars, it is crunchy he said, he's back to reality after he's done. After considered, he realise that the vision is meaning of the Buddha triple gems, then he pray "Budd Tung Sa Ra Nung Kut Cha Mi, Dhum Mung Sa Ra Nung Kut Cha Mi, Sunk Kung Sa Ra Nunag Kut Chai Mi" he founded delight and happiness. Luangpu Doo alway keep Buddha triple gems within his mind, this is the right way to find enlighten and key of meditation.
